Plumbing Service Manager

The position of a Plumbing Service Manager with The Green Air Group is a salaried position and will involve all departmental aspects of troubleshooting, repairing, installing and maintaining plumbing systems with a fast-paced service department. This position will be responsible for developing the Plumbing Service Department with a documented Standard Operating Procedure.

This position will be responsible for the recruitment of qualified service plumbers, as well as, the management of those technicians, departmental staff and labor expense. This individual will have authority for purchasing and will have direct control of material and equipment within the department.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Understanding of local, state, and federal plumbing codes and regulations.
• Experience with plumbing tools, equipment, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with job estimating, bidding, and project management

Management and Leadership Skills

• Experience leading, training, and managing a team of plumbers and technicians.
• Ability to schedule, assign, and oversee plumbing jobs.
• Problem-solving skills for troubleshooting plumbing issues and resolving customer complaints.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance measures.
• Ability to foster a productive and positive work environment.

Customer Service & Communication

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests professionally.
• Sales experience or ability to upsell services and products.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the plumbing industry.
• Prior experience in a supervisory or managerial role.

Salary for the position is $90K - $120K a year based on experience.
