What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trainer/Lead Budtender position at The Green House?
The Green House is looking for friendly and enthusiastic people who are eager to share their knowledge with current staff in addition to helping customers navigate the wide world of cannabis at our Farmington location. We are hiring for a full-time Lead Budtender who would also act as assistant to the Training Supervisor
Primary responsibilities
Training new staff members
Continued education with current staff
Supporting management with salesfloor upkeep
Enforcing CCD regulations
Greeting and checking in customers
Advising customers on the best product for their needs and preferences
Processing payments through a point-of-sale system and cash handling
Ensuring product security and compliance
Maintaining store appearance and organization
Required qualifications
Experience being a team lead
Experience in training new staff
Outstanding customer service and communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Reliable and professional
Full-time availability and ability to work nights and weekends
Must be 21 years of age.
Previous retail, food service, and/or cannabis industry experience is preferred but not required. We provide an extensive training program on product knowledge and compliance requirements, with opportunities for continuing education.
Benefits include paid sick leave and employee discounts. Budtenders are eligible for overtime and monthly sales bonuses. Tips are allowed and are not pooled. We are growing company with opportunities for advancement and involvement in outreach events.
