Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service and build rapport.
- Manage the bar area by keeping it clean, stocked, and organized at all times.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Assist in food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Maintain knowledge of current drink trends and menu offerings to provide recommendations to guests.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal regulations regarding alcohol service.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of food handling and safety practices.
- Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on providing outstanding guest services.
- Experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is preferred.
- Proficiency in using OpenTable or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and drink measurements.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- A friendly demeanor with strong communication skills, capable of engaging with diverse clientele.
