Position: Tennis Sales
Clerk
Department: Tennis
Primary Responsibilities: (guest
interaction, ordering responsibilities, clean up duties, clerical
responsibilities, etc.)
• Tennis pro shop retail sales
• Maintaining
cleanliness of the shop and fitness facility
• Reservations for tennis and
fitness and guest services
Secondary Responsibilities:
• Tennis
merchandise inventory
• Arranging shop merchandise and
displays
Normal Working Hours: (Shift,
days)
• Monday- Friday 8:00am -2:00 PM
• Weekend availability
• 8 hour shifts varying from 6:00am-7:00pm

Past Work Experience Requirements: (Type of work, number
of years required, equivalent experience, etc.)
• Retail with guest
experience preferred
• Knowledge of tennis, fitness and croquet
Educational Requirements: (Degree/Certification, highest
required/preferred, field of study)
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
Communication Skills Requirements: (Verbal: phone,
in-person, group; Written: memos, documents)
• Ability to listen and
speak well
• Communicate in a positive and confident
manner
• Professional and polite
Technical Requirements:
• Point of Sale register
preferred
• Money handling experience preferred
• Computer skills: data
entry
Required Supervision: (Reports to,

• Initial training,
then working independently
• Independent problem solving
