Position: Concierge
Department: Operations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Knowledgeable of all hotel facilities and amenities as well as within the local area, hours of operation, hotel history and directions
- Acts as liaison between the guest and various facilities within the hotel as well as the services locally and in surrounding areas
- Display a sense of urgency with all requests and follow through to ensure efficient completion of all requests
- Take amenities orders and follow up
- Have good phone etiquette
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Very detail oriented
- Able to Multi-task
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Ability to communicate with guest and provide alternate solutions to challenging situations
- Constant internal/external guest interaction
- General knowledge of office, telephone and computer procedures
Normal Working Hours:
- Shifts vary daily, days off may not be together, expected to work holidays
Past Work Experience Requirements:
- Prior hotel experience preferred
- Public/Guest contact position
Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- AHMA courses preferred
Communication Skills Requirements:
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong phone etiquette
Technical Requirements:
- Strong computer skills
