What You’ll Do
As a Construction Business Developer, you’ll be the driving force behind new business growth, building relationships with clients, landscape architects, and industry stakeholders. You’ll manage a results-oriented sales pipeline, collaborate with key internal teams, and develop winning proposals to secure high-quality construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Identify and cultivate new business relationships and construction opportunities
✅ Develop and maintain a strategic sales pipeline for landscape construction projects
✅ Work closely with Estimators, Project Managers, and Sales Teams to deliver competitive proposals
✅ Manage bid calendars and ensure timely, accurate submissions
✅ Provide risk assessment and strategic feedback to operations teams
✅ Utilize Aspire and other integrated software to maximize sales performance
What We’re Looking For
✔ A self-motivated sales professional with a competitive drive and a passion for the green industry
✔ Strong interpersonal and written communication skills to connect with clients and stakeholders
✔ Industry knowledge – understanding of landscape construction processes, means, and methods
✔ Organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time-management and digital skills
✔ Experience with multiple software platforms for sales tracking and proposal development
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Landscape, Construction, or a related field (preferred)
2-3 years of direct sales experience in landscape construction, contracting, or a related industry
Ability to travel as needed, with occasional overnight stays
