PHC Technician – Protect, Nurture, and Enhance our Green Spaces

What You’ll Do:
As a PHC Technician, you’ll use your expertise to ensure the vitality and aesthetic quality of plants, trees, and turf by applying proper horticultural techniques, including:
- Planting and maintaining a wide variety of plants and trees, removing weeds, and ensuring the application of fertilizers and pesticides is done safely and effectively.
- Using your keen eye to monitor plant health, identifying and addressing signs of insects or disease.
- Operating machinery, tractors, and hand tools to ensure that plants and landscapes thrive.
- Managing irrigation systems and soil health by hauling and spreading topsoil, fertilizers, and more.
- Performing seasonal tasks like cultivating, harvesting, transplanting, and preparing plants and shrubs for ideal growth.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of experience in the green industry or chemical application.
- Pesticide applicator’s license or willingness to obtain one.
- Ability to safely handle and operate hand tools, gardening equipment, tractors, and other machinery.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical activities such as bending, twisting, stooping, and climbing.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
