About the Role:
We are seeking an Inventory Field Specialist for our Seattle, Washington office. As part of our Inventory team, the Inventory Field Specialist provides support to the Inventory Specialists in response to claims for both residential and commercial property losses.

As an Inventory Field Specialist at The Greenspan Co./Adjusters International, you will play a crucial role in helping them rebuild their lives after devastating events. You have meticulous attention to detail and enjoy working directly with clients. Your excellent interpersonal skills allow you to successfully interact with clients who are going through high-stress situations. The ideal candidate for this role must be comfortable working in potentially harsh and dangerous environments that have been severely damaged by fire, water, mold, etc. at loss sites.

Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately follow work instructions outlined in job plans determined by Inventory Managers/Specialists.
- Provide excellent customer service to meet the needs of the insured, public adjusters, insurance carriers, and other internal and external customers
- Contact and work with clients in person and scope content loss on-site.
- Inspect and electronically record the damaged and destroyed personal property of homeowners or business owners who have sustained a loss.
- Record all damaged personal property using a voice recorder and take pictures of all damaged items.
- Complete between 10-15 claims annually in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
- Perform administrative functions such as expense accounts, receipt match-up, etc. as required
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications:
- High school Degree or equivalent
- Ability to travel 70-80%
- Previous experience working in a customer-facing role
- Strong technical, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Experience using various computer software and ability to learn new programs quickly
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and Outlook
Extra Credit:
- Restoration or insurance experience is preferred but not required
- Data entry experience preferred but not required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work out of our Seattle, Washington office
- At a loss site, working inside and outside of property. You will be expected to work in and around physical structures including climbing on ladder and roofs, crawling in floor spaces, and/or similar tasks.
- You may be required to wear protective gear for your safety
- Ability to lift and or move heavy objects sometimes in excess of 50lbs
- Work conditions may be severe based on weather and severity of damages/loss such as harsh environments that are severely damaged by fire, water, mold, and/or conditions that could cause risk to health and body.
