As a Server, you'll be the face of our restaurant, ensuring guests enjoy a delightful dining experience with breathtaking waterfront views. Whether you're a seasoned pro or new to the industry, if you have a passion for excellent service and a friendly attitude, we want you on our team! This temporary/seasonal position ends in October and requires weekend and holiday availability.

- Greet all guests warmly within 30 seconds of their arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist guests in selecting food and beverages by promoting daily specials and sharing your genuine recommendations and preferences.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them effectively to the kitchen.
- Efficiently assemble and deliver orders to the appropriate tables, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide prompt and attentive service, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional, swift manner.
- Process payments and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, chairs, and the dining area.
- Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards.

- Customer service experience, especially in food service or retail (training provided for those without prior experience)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Full weekend and summer holiday availability. Typical hours of operation are Friday–Sunday, 11:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Previous experience as a server or in a similar role
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Knowledge of food and beverage service best practices
- Enthusiasm for lakeside living and the boating lifestyle
- Performs work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, as The Grill features covered outdoor dining areas.
- Remains stationary for extended periods of time.
- Communicates clearly and effectively with guests to take orders and handle guest needs.
- Moves about the restaurant to deliver food to customers and carry out sanitation duties.
- Moves up to 25 lbs.
The anticipated pay for this position is $2.50 per hour plus tips, which are distributed through a tip pool.
