Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Crew Leader to oversee and coordinate construction activities on-site. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of construction management practices. As a Crew Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring quality control, managing crew members, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations.
Duties
- Lead and supervise a team of workers on construction sites, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Utilize construction management software such as Primavera and ProCore to plan, monitor, and report on project progress.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that all work meets industry standards and client specifications.
- Manage project timelines and resources effectively while adhering to OSHA regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to communicate project updates and address any issues that arise.
- Train new crew members on proper procedures, equipment usage, and safety practices.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any incidents that occur on-site.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction management or a related field is required.
- Familiarity with construction management software such as HeavyBid is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pipeline construction processes is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Previous experience with quality control measures in a construction setting is highly desirable.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
