Your Responsibilities as a Hardscape Team Lead

Our Hardscape Lead is responsible for overseeing all on-site aspects of landscape construction, projects and responsible for performing a variety of work tasks to manage the timely completion of contracts.

Customer and quality focus

Effective communication skills (verbal, written, and digital)

Excellent problem-solving abilities

Responsibility and dependability

Computer and mobile skills and abilities

You must be able to work outdoors, in all weather conditions, doing very physical work, able to lift / carry 35-80 pounds often.

You ensure everything is wrapped up and set to go for the next day.

How We Measure Success

Attendance : Might sound basic, but it's critical to meet our Customer Service goals. You need to be here as required by your Supervisory team.

Budget vs Actual Hours : Keeping jobs profitable is dependent on managing the time planned and spent at each job.

Return Rates : You'll ensure quality control to make sure it's rare to ever need to go back to redo a job.

Customer Retention : Building great relationships with each customer, and ensuring that they receive exceptional service, will keep them coming back.

Full Utilization of Software & Processes : This helps make all the above possible.

Job Requirements for Hardscape Team Lead

Prior experience in landscaping, lawn service, or similar service industries.

Must possess a valid driver's license.

Excellent and flexible time management skills

Capable of operating required equipment and tools in a safe and responsible manner

Effective communication skills (both verbal and written)

Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

Must possess a "Big Picture" perspective.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.

Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools and equipment required to complete various landscape / construction practices.

Proficiency in computer, smart phone or data-enabled device use for communication and reporting.

Benefits & Pay

The pay range for this position is $25.00 to $30.00 an hour and is dependent on your experience as a hardscape or landscaping professional.
