Position Overview:

As an Outside Sales Team Member, you will be responsible for driving sales of our landscaping products and services, establishing and maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the overall success of our organization. Your knowledge of the landscape profession, strong interpersonal skills, and sales expertise will play a crucial role in achieving our sales targets and expanding our customer base.

Responsibilities:

Sales Generation:

• Proactively identify and pursue residential and small commercial sales opportunities within the territory.
• Generate leads, follow up on inquiries, and convert prospects into customers.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our landscaping products and services.
• Prepare and deliver persuasive sales proposals and quotes tailored to customers' needs.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to secure sales and achieve revenue targets.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new sales opportunities.

Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on landscape design, maintenance and solutions.
• Conduct site visits to assess customers' needs and develop customized solutions.
• Collaborate with the design and project management teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Foster long-term customer loyalty and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

Sales Administration:

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, sales activities, and pipeline reports using CRM software.
• Prepare sales forecasts, progress reports, and sales presentations for management.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop sales collateral, promotional materials, and campaigns.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to expand professional networks.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sales, preferably in the landscaping or related industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• Exceptional negotiation and persuasive skills.
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to client locations as required.
