Finance Coordinator

Position: Finance Coordinator

Salary: $26.50 - $27.50 per hour

Type: Full-time (Non-exempt); occasional nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Finance Coordinator will assist the Finance Manager with accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate financial records, tracking invoices and payments, and maintaining an organized document management system. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provide administrative support for the finance and accounting department, including report preparation and internal staff communications.
• Collaborate with the Finance Manager on accounting tasks to ensure accurate financial records.
• Process invoices, maintain detailed financial records, and prepare accounts payable check requests.
• Assist in creating invoices and tracking billing and payments in our event-based CRM. Confirm that all additional documents (insurance documents, security deposits) are received prior to an event.
• Finalizing all events upon completion, ensuring all final billing is issued and received and security deposits returned (when applicable).
• Audit and invoicing for all third-party vendors (concessionaires), ensuring timely payments.
• Assists with cash reconciliation.
• Assist with all financial responsibilities related to the Placer County Fair.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Positive, outgoing, and personable demeanor with the ability to relate effectively to diverse individuals and groups.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks.
• Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other standard office software.

• 1-2 years of experience in a finance-related role, demonstrating reliability and consistent performance in a professional environment.
