Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Beverage/Dining Room Manager to oversee and elevate our dining and beverage services. This role is crucial in maintaining high operational standards, ensuring member satisfaction, and leading front-of-house operations, beverage procurement, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Membership Satisfaction: Cultivate a warm and inviting environment that exceeds member expectations in every dining and beverage interaction.
- Beverage Knowledge: Demonstrate and share expertise in wine, beer, and spirits, curating offerings that align with member preferences and trends.
- Beverage Purchase Orders: Manage vendor relationships and oversee cost-effective procurement of beverages, maintaining optimal stock levels.
- Inventory Management: Conduct strict weekly inventory checks to ensure accuracy and align with club standards.
- Front-of-House Procedures: Develop and enforce high-standard operational procedures to optimize service quality and efficiency.
- Drink Menus: Curate and maintain an appealing beverage menu, including wine pairings and seasonal cocktails.
- Point of Sale System: Utilize and manage the Jonas Point of Sale (POS) system for seamless and accurate transaction processing and reporting.
- Dining/Bar Operations: Oversee daily operations of the dining room and bar, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Event Coordination: Partner with the events team to deliver seamless dining and beverage service for special events and functions.
- Staff Development: Train and mentor the front-of-house team, emphasizing knowledge of wine, beer, and spirits, and ensuring exceptional service.
- Member Feedback: Actively solicit and respond to member feedback to continually enhance the dining and beverage experience.
- Compliance: Ensure all dining and bar operations meet local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.
- Budget Management: Assist in preparing and managing budgets for beverage and dining operations, ensuring financial goals are met or exceeded.
- Operational Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance the member experience.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the culinary team to align dining room and beverage offerings with menu items for a cohesive experience.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary: $50,000–$55,000, plus service charge compensation.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in food and beverage management, preferably in a private club or high-end dining setting.

- Proficiency with Jonas Club Software Point of Sale (POS) or similar systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
