We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic rehab team. This role offers both full-time and 1099 contractor opportunities.
Position Summary :
As a Speech-Language Pathologist at The Grove Health and Rehabilitation, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide personalized therapy plans, helping patients reach their rehabilitation goals in a subacute rehab setting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to patients' specific needs and rehabilitation goals.
- Provide direct therapy services to individuals and groups, utilizing evidence-based interventions and techniques.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to maximize outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on communication strategies, home exercises, and techniques for improving swallowing and cognitive function.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, and physical / occupational therapists, to coordinate care and optimize patient recovery.
- Document patient progress and treatment sessions in accordance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Comply with all state and federal regulations, as well as professional and ethical standards in speech-language pathology.
