Join our dynamic Food & Beverage TEAM as a Barista/Market Attendant and play a crucial role in enhancing our hotel's barista and market services! As a Barista/Market Attendant, you'll create a welcoming environment and deliver exceptional service to customers in both the barista and market areas. You'll manage daily operations, including preparing and serving beverages, handling transactions, and maintaining cleanliness to ensure a pleasant experience for every guest. Upholding high standards of hygiene, presentation, and product quality will be key as you interact with guests and collaborate with team members to enhance overall service. Your flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays, will contribute to the smooth operation of the barista and market areas, where you'll also assist in promoting activities and events to drive sales and customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and establish rapport with guests, proactively engaging them in conversations their stay
- Deliver best-in-class service to our guests with engagement and thoughtfulness.
- Preparing and serving beverages such as drip coffee, espresso-based drinks, tea, and other specialty drinks.

Preparing and serving food items such as sandwiches, and pastries.
Answering guests’ questions about menu choices.
- Generate checks through PMS and receive payments efficiently for each guest
- Maintain daily organization of the restaurant, ensuring all condiments and supplies are replenished
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent stock shortages.
- Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and optimal functionality of all restaurant and service workstations.
- May be assigned to other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager(s).
Physical Demands:
- Kneel, stoop, grasp, lift and carry, and transport 50 – 75lbs
- Work most of the shift standing and moving about in the restaurants and kitchen areas
Qualifications:
Education:
- High school diploma or its equivalent
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year Server experience in a similar role, size of operation preferred
- Alcohol Beverage Servers Certification required
- Food Handlers Certification required
