Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary team and contributing to the overall hospitality experience we provide to our guests.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed.
• Assist with food preparation tasks as required, ensuring all ingredients are ready for cooking.
• Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and cleanliness.
• Support cooks and kitchen staff by providing necessary items quickly to enhance service efficiency.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with food handling procedures and kitchen safety practices is a plus.
• A strong work ethic with the ability to work well under pressure in a busy kitchen setting.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to providing exceptional hospitality.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to various tasks within the kitchen environment.
