Overview: Guardian Life is seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Architect to design and implement innovative and scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform. You Will: Own the solution or major components of the solution—steering development and managing technical risks. Define technology capabilities and solution roadmaps, ensuring flawless transition states. Work with IT Service Management team to ensure alignment with business and technology strategy. Translate business needs into end-to-end technical solutions utilizing a service-based architecture, APIs, and event-driven integrations. Ensure technology solutions are scalable, flexible, and optimized for performance and user experience. Identify and close gaps in current technology while recommending future investments. Ensure architectural solutions align with Guardian Life’s technology stack and best practices. Drive the implementation of reusable components (APIs/Microservices) for a modular and efficient technology ecosystem. Conduct technology evaluations and make recommendations to enhance Guardian Life’s IT landscape. Provide hands-on collaboration with development teams to ensure smooth implementation of architectural designs. Lead design and code reviews, test plan reviews, and production support transition reviews. Mentor junior team members and provide technical guidance You Have: Commanding knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, with experience in automation solutions using Flow Designer. Skilled in leading system design and architectural discussions, with strong technical requirement writing expertise. Strong collaboration skills with employees, vendors, and third-party contractors. Ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to team members. Expertise in IT SDLC and operational best practices. Experience in designing and implementing complex solutions using technologies such as JavaScript, NodeJS, SpringBoot, Python, APIs, and Kafka. Experience with web service protocols such as SOAP, REST, and JSON. Knowledge of cloud application design, development, and deployment. Understanding of user authentication and authorization across multiple systems. Experience with design patterns and modeling tools. Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 5 years of development experience, with expertise in JavaScript and ServiceNow platform development. Location & Travel: New York, NY, Holmdel, NJ, Bethlehem, PA, Pittsfield, MA. Hybrid 3 days in the office. 10% of travel is required Salary Range: $116,350.00 - $191,155.00 The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
