The Guidance Center (TGC) in Leavenworth, Kansas, is actively seeking an experienced Child and Family Therapist to join our innovative interdisciplinary team. As a reputable Community Mental Health Center serving Leavenworth, Atchison, and Jefferson counties, TGC is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of children, adolescents, and their families. - Competitive salary range of $68,149 to $73,149 based on licensure and previous experience
- TGC is a qualifying employer for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)
- Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:00am-5:00pm plus 4 hours in the evening.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct intake assessments and develop initial treatment plans to clients under the age of 18
- Provide effective individual, family, and group psychotherapy, as well as ongoing treatment planning
- Deliver crisis services during daytime hours, when required
Requirements:
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:
Master's degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Professional Counseling
Licensure by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board as a LMSW, LMLP, LMFT, LPC, LSCSW, LCP, LCPC, or LCMFT by the start of employment
EXPERIENCE:
Required: One year experience in a clinical setting providing assessment and therapy services.
Preferred: Post-master's clinical experience and familiarity with the Kansas system of community-based mental health care and associated evidence-based practices
