The Guidance Center (TGC) in Oskaloosa, KS is looking for an Outpatient Clinician (Therapist) to join our dynamic interdisciplinary team. TGC serves Leavenworth, Atchison, and Jefferson counties in Kansas, providing community mental health services. Responsibilities
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:
Must have a Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Professional Counseling, as well as licensure by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board as an LMSW, LMLP, or LMFT before starting employment.
Experience
Required: two semesters of master-level practicum experience in a clinical setting providing assessment and therapy services. Preferred: post-master’s clinical experience and familiarity with the Kansas community-based mental health care system and evidence-based practices.

- Perform intake assessments and develop initial treatment plans
- Conduct psychotherapy sessions (individual, family, and group) and ongoing treatment planning
- Offer a minimum of four appointment hours per week after 5 pm
- Provide daytime crisis services as needed
