Summary: Provide Speech-Language Pathology services under the clinical supervision of the Guild Speech-Language Pathology Manager. While meeting all ASHA CF requirements, you will collaborate with Guild educational, clinical, and residential services to provide communication programming for under- 22 individuals with intellectual impairments, including those with autism and challenging behaviors, within the School and Residential Programs.

Primary Job Responsibilities
- Provide screening of speech/language communication skills as part of the student intake process.
- Provide supervision of assessments of all students’ speech and language level of functioning.
- Assessment of Speech and Language Level of Functioning:
- Develop, implement, and monitor individual and group communication programs.
- Provide consultation and staff training of projected programs.
- Provide pre- and in-service training.
- Serve as a member of the Behavior Plan Review Committee (BPRC).
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job, including inclement weather situations.
- Demonstrated evidence of mature judgment, good interpersonal skills, a desire to enrich individuals' lives and a willingness to learn from skilled professionals.

- Proficiency in written and spoken English is an essential function of the job.
- The SLP must have the physical and mental capacity to work in stressful situations with individuals who have limited cognition and complex needs.
- The SLP must have the ability to deescalate and restrain individuals using Nonviolent Crisis Intervention as certified through CPI.
- The SLP-CF must have sufficient use of the sense of vision, hearing, and touch to observe effectively in the classroom, residences, and clinical settings. SLP-CF must possess the ability to observe both close at hand and at a distance.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of a Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology is required.
- Experience with individuals who have behavioral/mental health needs is preferred.
- Experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) is preferred.
- Sign language skills are preferred.
