Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee the financial operations of the nursing home. The ideal candidate will need to have a strong understanding of Nursing Home business practices. The Office Manager will be responsible for billing, managing resident accounts, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. This role requires effective communication, multitasking abilities, and a commitment to fostering a productive work environment.
Duties
- Managing accounts receivables.
- Processing and reconciling resident trust accounts.
- Ensuring accurate billing and payment processing.
- Performing month- end closing procedures.
- Answering questions from families regarding resident accounts.
- Working with Admissions Director and Social Worker to ensure no lapse in payor coverage.
- Other responsibilities may occur in order to maintain a strong financial position for the facility.
Qualifications
- Must have extensive experience working a nursing home setting.
- Understanding of Point Click Care.
- Knowledge of the Medicaid application process including recertifications.
- Excellent phone etiquette with strong verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in using office software and technology.
