Starting hourly wage: $20/hour

Shifts: 9:00 AM-5:30 PM Monday-Friday

Location: Overland, MO (2121 Walton Rd)

Job Summary

• Implement the Order Fulfillment Process steps related to the preparation of shipments and related documentation to ensure the complete satisfaction of the customer’s requirements.
• Work may involve one or more of the following: knowledge of various items of stock in order to verify content selection of appropriate type and size of container; using appropriate packing material to prevent breakage or damage; closing and sealing container; and applying labels or entering identifying data on container. Workers may use bar code readers, computer terminals or other electronic devices to track product.

Essential Job Functions

• Prepare product for shipment to the customer by inspecting, labeling and packaging product according to standard procedures:
• Move finished parts from shop to shipping/Match work order/packing slip/verify all critical shipment data
• Ensure product is packed in a timely manner and protected from damage following customer specifications
• Operate forklift (certified through TGC)
• Load and unload trucks
• Assist with training other team members
• Follow safety rules and quality standards
• Make suggestions to improve production and order processing efficiency

Qualifications and Competencies

• Ability to read production or shipping documents
• Perform work independently with minimal defects
• Open to change due to emergency orders or fabrication of parts
• Basic to intermediate math skills
• Ability to learn and understand drawing and blueprints, use basic measuring instruments
• Ability to operate a forklift (TGC to train and certify)
• Ability to work overtime as needed

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED, required.
• Prior hands on, vocational or job-related course work/training, preferred.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing industry is preferred.

Work Environment Not climate controlled and subject to outdoor weather conditions. Team members are exposed to sounds and noise levels that are distracting.

• Frequent exposure to fumes/dust particles; may require use of respirators or other types of PPE.
• May come in contact with toxic or caustic chemicals.
• Team Member must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
