The Gund Company has an immediate opening for an experienced Project Engineer to join our team at our St. Louis, MO Corporate Headquarters!

Job Summary
The Project Engineer (Electrical Project Engineer) is a key resource focused primarily on designing, developing, and managing electrical systems and industrial controls, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating with other team members to meet project requirements. This role also involves overseeing the installation of electrical systems in buildings and other construction projects, and ensuring that electrical systems are safe, efficient, and compliant with regulations. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills to ensure that all electrical infrastructure meets safety standards and project specifications. Project work will also support manufacturing, industrial controls, and facility engineering opportunities throughout North America. This position will report directly to the Director of Engineering.
Job Duties
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate all aspects of construction projects.
- Maintain detailed records of project progress, including reports and documentation of all activities.
- Specify installation requirements, develop SOW, obtain bids / proposals, and install new capital equipment.
- Ensure all electrical systems comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Standardize industrial controls and related processes and installation protocols throughout enterprise.
- Support PLC and control programming / troubleshooting.
- Integrate machinery components and autonomous machines.
- Serve as a technical resource for any electrical, mechanical, and industrial controls related issues.
- Support facility engineering and project managers of other facilities with difficult tasks encountered on projects.
- Technical reporting of new material, process, and key equipment capabilities (white papers).
- Assist manufacturing facilities with the implementation of new processes and equipment.
- Execute on approved engineering projects and tasks to realize ROI and to meet timeline, communicate to all stakeholders on project progress and organize project reviews as per plan.

Travel may include up to 50% based on project work. Work is based out of the corporate office located in St. Louis, MO.
