Internship Overview– How You’ll Contribute
Internships are professional experiences that students participate in to gain professional skills and experiences. Internships are structured as learning experiences that combine in-class theory with real–world applications. During the internship, you will work directly with the CFO/ VP of Accounting and other personnel as assigned to facilitate Accounting responsibilities. You will be involved in numerous aspects of the day to day activities for the ultimate accounting experience.

During the internship, you will work directly with the CFO/ VP of Accounting and other personnel as assigned to facilitate Accounting responsibilities. You will be involved in numerous aspects of the day to day activities for the ultimate accounting experience.
- Assist with gathering back-up support and preparing of Journal Entries.
- Assist with month end close reports.
- Perform various account reconciliations.
- Perform miscellaneous administrative duties as assigned.
- Filing & Scanning.
- Answer phone calls.
Qualifications – What You Need To Be Successful
- College Student enrolled in Accounting courses with credit hours equaling a Junior, or Senior.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrate a passion for Accounting.
- Self-starter with demonstrated leadership experience; high initiative and drive.
- Research and analytic skills; capacity to grasp technical details.
- Strong organization, time management, and project management capabilities.
- Problem resolution skills; able to think through problems resulting in proper course of action.
