Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of all linens and garments. Duties:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens and garments according to established procedures
- Inspect items for stains, tears, or damage and report any issues to the supervisor
- Operate industrial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
- Maintain inventory of clean linens and supplies
- Ensure proper storage of clean linens and supplies
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
- Assist with other housekeeping tasks as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience in custodial or industrial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards is beneficial
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
