Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aggregate Truck Operator to join our team at the H&K Group, Inc.'s Bedrock Quarry. As an essential member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely transporting aggregate materials from the quarry to various construction sites.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation and maintenance, as well as excellent communication and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with our production team to ensure efficient and safe material transportation, while adhering to all company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Operate straight or articulated rubber-tired rock truck equipped with hydraulically powered bed to transport and dump material.
- Perform pre and post trip inspections on equipment and complete daily inspection sheets.
- Start engine, shift gears, press pedals, and turn steering wheel to operate rock truck safely and efficiently.
- Maintain routine vehicle checks and report any issues promptly to the maintenance team.
