Responsibilities
- Operate milling machines on road construction projects, adhering to OSHA and H&K safety policies.
- Maintain equipment by greasing properly, checking fluids daily, and keeping it clean and free of debris.
- Perform daily checks on equipment to ensure proper operating condition and notify the shop foreman of any maintenance or repair requirements.
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience with milling machines on highway road construction projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to read and interpret safety signs, manuals, and documents relevant to the job and equipment in use.
- Ability to fit test and utilize appropriate PPE as needed.
