Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform all work adhering to OSHA and H&K Safety policies
Be able to do basic sweeping and shoveling
Assist in basic machine / building maintenance
Split and saw block when needed
Assist with the production of block
Change molds
Assemble mold boxes
Inspects materials or products for damage or conformity to specifications
Stencil, tag and write identifying information on packaged products
Clean mixer
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills, Education, and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution OR one month of related experience and / or training
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
Verbal and written communication skills
Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience
3 months of related experience
Experience working in heavy manufacturing, civil construction, road construction, or quarries
MSHA, OSHA or other relevant safety certifications
Physical Demands
