Responsibilities
Training Overview
- Interviews are held on specific dates.
- Classes take place on weekdays from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm EDT.
- Potential full-time positions with H&K's elite team of drivers after training completion and CDL acquisition.
Required Skills, Education, and Experience
- A current Class C driver's license is necessary.
- A clean driving record is required.
- Scheduled interview attendance is mandatory.
- A standard DOT physical/medical card must be obtained prior to class start.
- All required evening classes must be attended.
Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience
- Experience working in outdoor industrial settings, such as quarries or heavy civil construction, is preferred.
- OSHA or relevant safety certification is advantageous.
Physical Demands
- Frequently required to:
- Use hands to finger, handle, or feel.
- Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Frequently required to:
- Stand, walk, or sit.
- Reach with hands and arms.
- Talk or hear.
- Climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Work Environment
- Frequently exposed to outside weather conditions.
- Frequently exposed to:
- Moving mechanical parts.
- Fumes and airborne particles.

- Occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Noise level is usually loud.
