Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess a one-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school OR six months of related experience and/or training.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Able to pass practical skills tests for excavators and loaders, and have a valid OSHA or other relevant safety certifications are preferred.
Additionally, two years of related experience and/or training, experience working in heavy civil construction, road construction, or quarries, and experience with other heavy equipment are highly valued.
Strong problem-solving skills, ability to fit test and utilize appropriate PPE, and ability to meet physical demands of the job are also required.
