Job Description:
This role involves operating heavy equipment, such as cranes and pile-driving machinery, to drive pilings for various construction projects. The successful candidate will possess excellent technical skills and attention to detail, as well as strong communication abilities. Previous experience in heavy civil construction is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with Pile Driving Foreman on project specifications
- Interpret load charts and hand signals
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report malfunctions
- Participate in other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Related experience and/or training in heavy civil construction or a related field
- Working knowledge of safety protocols and crane setup plans
- Experience operating rigging equipment and interpreting blueprints
- Ability to operate surveying instruments and read job-related documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving abilities
- Ability to travel as required for projects
Education and Training:
