About the Job:
The Haul Truck Driver will play a critical role in achieving our production goals while maintaining a safe working environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong focus on teamwork.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a haul truck to transport and dump material.
- Perform daily pre and post trip inspections and maintain accurate records.
- Drive safely and efficiently to achieve production goals.
- Assist with maintenance tasks as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution or relevant experience and training.
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to wear PPE as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- One year of experience operating heavy equipment, preferably water or haul trucks.
- Experience working in a quarry, open pit mine, or heavy construction industry.
- CDL A or B license.
- MSHA and/or other safety certifications and training.
Work Environment:
- Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, vibration, and noise.
- Frequently exposed to fumes, airborne particles, and moving mechanical parts.
