Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, excavators, and loaders in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain equipment by greasing properly and checking fluids daily.
- Perform daily checks on equipment to ensure proper operating condition.
- Notify shop foreman of any requirements for maintenance or repairs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school OR six months of related experience and/or training.
- Able to pass practical skills test for heavy equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
