Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Lowbed Truck Driver with a Class A CDL to transport oversize and heavy equipment to and from specified destinations.
- This role involves driving a lowbed truck with a capacity of more than 3 tons to transport heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform pre and post trips on the lowbed tractor daily.
- Drive the lowbed truck to destination and prepare trailer for equipment to be picked up.
- Load heavy equipment onto trailer and drive to assigned job site.
- Unload equipment from lowbed trailer and maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations and company policy.
- Maintain telephone or radio contact with dispatchers to receive pickup and delivery instructions.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- A valid CDL A license is necessary.
- Clean driving record and at least 1 year of experience driving a lowbed truck with a capacity of more than 3 tons.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
