Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Bridge Carpenter Foreperson to join our team. This individual will be responsible for performing all work according to OSHA and H&K Safety policies, reading blueprints and job-related documents, and recording daily events in a job diary.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule materials, equipment, and work for the crew
- Develop crew SIPs and submit to site Foreperson
- Track daily quantities and submit to site Foreperson
- Conduct daily huddles with crew to establish daily production goals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university OR one year of related experience and/or training
- Working knowledge and ability to safely and efficiently understand and direct carpentry crew
- Ability to read blueprints and job-related documents
- Ability to operate surveying instruments, shoot elevations, and straight lines
