We are seeking a Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Rahns Concrete. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a leading provider of ready-mix and precast concrete products in eastern Pennsylvania and the surrounding region. Our company operates eight permanent ready-mix concrete plants and offers on-site ready-mix products for large construction projects.
Responsibilities
As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, your primary responsibilities will include repairing and maintaining electric, diesel, and gasoline industrial trucks. You will need to perform all work in accordance with OSHA and H&K Safety policies, read job orders, observe and listen to truck or equipment operation to determine malfunction, and plan work procedures.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need one year of certificate from an accredited college or technical school in diesel mechanics or a related field, or two years of related experience and/or training. You must also possess a Class A or B CDL or be able to obtain it within one year, have a clean driving record, excellent customer service and teamwork skills, mathematical skills, and the ability to meet physical requirements.
