The H&K Group, Inc. is a leading heavy civil and highway construction company seeking a Pile Driver to join our crew. Our ideal candidate will have experience with pile driving, rigging, and operating surveying instruments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive pilings for retaining walls, bulkheads, and foundations of structures.
- Confer with Pile Driving Foreman on job specifications.
- Read and interpret load charts.
- Perform daily inspections on equipment, clean and perform minor maintenance, report malfunctions.
Requirements:
- Related experience and/or training in pile driving, rigging, and surveying.
- Working knowledge of crane setup and lifting plans.
- Experience with pile driving and drilling equipment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of relevant experience and/or training.
- OSHA or other relevant safety certifications.
Work Environment:
- Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, high, precarious places.
- Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles.
