About the Position
The H&K Group is seeking a skilled Pipe Foreperson to oversee and coordinate work on our pipe crew. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing activities to ensure successful project completion.
Responsibilities
- We are looking for an individual with strong leadership skills and experience in reading blueprints and job-related documents to plan and coordinate work.
- Daily tasks include recording events in the job diary, scheduling materials and equipment, tracking quantities, and communicating effectively with the crew and customers.
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of problem-solving, leading by example, and influencing company values.
- They must also be able to proactively train and mentor crew members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university OR one year of related experience and/or training.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, mathematical skills, and the ability to read blueprints and job-related documents.
- Driver's license and clean driving record required.
