Responsibilities and Requirements
The Plant Operator/Groundperson will be responsible for maintaining the plant on the second shift. This includes performing all work according to MSHA and H&K Safety policies, performing plant maintenance, maintaining clean work areas, proactively learning plant functions and operations, obtaining all knowledge to complete assigned tasks, taking direction from and working in a team with all other site personnel, and other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate should possess a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Required skills and qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited educational institution or one month of related experience and/or training, verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work a second shift schedule.
