Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Plant Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating plant equipment, maintaining daily records, and contributing to the overall success of our quarry operations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth operation of plant equipment
- Maintain accurate records of production and maintenance activities
- Participate in daily huddles with supervisor to discuss production goals and objectives
- Assist in training new employees on equipment operation and safety procedures
- Contribute to the development and implementation of process improvements
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution OR one month of related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving
- Ability to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
- Ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
