About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Foreperson to lead our construction projects. As a Foreperson, you will direct activities of workers concerned with construction of highways, pipelines, or other construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all work according to established safety policies and procedures
- Record daily events in job diary to ensure accurate documentation
- Schedule materials, equipment, and work for the crew to optimize efficiency
- Analyze crew performance to identify areas for improvement and implement changes
- Coordinate with project managers to prepare for billing process
- Analyze cost reports to make informed production adjustments
- Accurately code and control onsite costs to ensure financial accuracy
- Lead site meetings to communicate goals and expectations
- Participate in E&S meetings and Job Turnover meetings to ensure seamless project execution
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university OR one year of related experience and/or training
- Ability to read blueprints and job-related documents
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to apply concepts to practical situations
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Problem-solving
- Basic computer skills including internet, email, and the use of digital cameras for work documentation
- Driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to fit test & utilize appropriate PPE as needed
- Able to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, as relevant to job)
