Silver Hill Quarry, a division of The H&K Group, Inc., is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Plant Operator. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of plant equipment operations and be able to perform duties safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and MSHA regulations.
- Operate plant equipment according to established procedures.
- Conduct daily grease and oil checks on crushers and screens.
- Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the superintendent.
- Perform regular guarding inspections and plant checks.
- Monitor and maintain optimal screen media conditions.
- Maintain a clean and organized operating booth.
- Meet production schedules and deadlines.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and suggest changes.
- Collaborate with coworkers to resolve production-related issues.
