Responsibilities
As a Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for the following duties:
• Overseeing the planning and coordination of work on a pipe crew
• Directing activities of workers on projects throughout Northeastern PA and adjoining Southern NY
• Ensuring compliance with OSHA and H&K safety policies and procedures
• Coordinating materials, equipment, and work for the crew
• Developing crew Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and submitting them to the site foreman
• Tracking daily quantities and submitting reports to the site foreman
• Conducting daily huddles with the crew to establish daily production goals and ensure all members understand the plan for the day
• Communicating effectively with customer representatives and inspectors
• Performing all other duties of crew members as needed
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university or one year of related experience and/or training. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered. A driver's license and clean driving record are required, as well as the ability to fit test and utilize PPE as needed. Supervisory experience and OSHA or other relevant safety certifications are highly desirable.
