What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tri-Axle CDL Drivers position at The H&K Group?
Stone Express, a division of The H&K Group, Inc., is currently seeking experienced and motivated Class A and B CDL drivers to perform critical logistics roles. This position requires reliability, attentiveness, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and able to maintain truck logs and ensure the vehicles are in good condition daily.

Responsibilities
The selected candidates will be responsible for:
- Performing all work in accordance with DOT Regulations and H&K Safety policies
- Making timely deliveries to various locations
- Preparing receipts for load pick up
- Maintaining truck log according to state and federal regulations and company policy
- Maintaining telephone or radio contact with supervisor/Dispatch to receive delivery instructions
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Performing daily pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water
- Tarping all loads when on public roadways at all times
- Trimming loads prior to tarping when necessary
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent from an accredited educational institution
- A Class A CDL with 1 year of commercial driving experience or a Class B CDL with 1 year of triaxle driving experience
- A clean driving record
- Customer Service and Teamwork skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to fit test and utilize appropriate PPE as needed
- The ability to meet physical requirements (movement, lifting, etc.)
