CDL Driver Job Description:
We are seeking experienced and motivated Class A and B CDL drivers to join our team. Our CDL drivers play a critical role in the success of H&K.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all work adhering to DOT Regulations and H&K Safety policies
- Make timely deliveries to various locations
- Prepare receipts for load pick-up
- Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations and company policy
- Maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor/Dispatch to receive delivery instructions
- Load and unload truck
- Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspection of vehicle
- Tarp all loads when on public roadways
- Trim loads prior to tarping when necessary
- Other duties as assigned
