ORDER SELECTOR | Warehouse
The H.T. Hackney Company is a privately owned wholesale grocery distributor that has served customers for over 130 years and is a leader in the wholesale industry. We are looking for energetic, dedicated, and self-driven individuals to join our Greenville, SC warehouse team as an Order Selector.
WORK SCHEDULE | Sleep In and Enjoy 3 Day Weekends!
Monday-Thursday from 2 pm until all trucks are loaded (considered a "night shift" position). Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays are usually 10-12 hour shifts. Thursdays are usually 7-9 hour shifts. Shift length depends on sales volume. This is a full-time employment position.
JOB DUTIES | What Exactly Will I Be Doing?
An Order Selector with no prior forklift experience is an entry-level position in our warehouse that picks customers’ orders from an assigned section of the facility. Using our scanning technology, you may pick orders from our candy or grocery departments, help in the cooler or freezer areas, or even load trailers. We have many departments and love to cross-train so be ready to learn and expand your knowledge of warehousing as we teach you our business with many opportunities for growth and advancement.
