ROLE SUMMARY:
The Server Assistant/Busser will provide personalized and immaculate guest service and an elegant dining experience by anticipating and providing for all guest needs/requests. They will assist in cleaning and resetting tables as well as maintaining cleanliness in common areas of the restaurant. The Server Assistant/Busser will also work with servers on all aspects of service as required. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast- paced environment. Open availability is preferred.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Works with a sense of urgency to anticipate the needs of customers and other team members.
- Assists servers with food &beverage service to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Maintains cleanliness of stations with necessary equipment including silverware, linen, condiments, and bottled beverages.
- Wipe down booths and chairs, move tables and chairs, and clean floors as necessary.
- Responsible for keeping the back of the restaurant clean and organized.
- Responsible for maintaining appropriate inventory and proper condition of equipment and operating supplies.
- Communicates with management, and all other service staff regarding all customer needs comments or incidents.
- Cleans all spills immediately and notifies other staff members about potential hazards.
- Ensures compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Performs all opening and closing duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Previous relevant experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant is preferred.
- Must be able to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting plates, boxes, and objects up to 30lbs.
- Must have excellent time management skills.
- Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy.
