ROLE SUMMARY
We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern with an interest in operations and business administration to join our organization for the Summer of 2025. The Operations Intern will assist the Vice President of Operations who oversees day-to-day corporate and venue functioning to support the growth and goals of The h.wood Group. You will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of the company’s daily procedures and operations while gaining valuable insight to further your interest in your chosen career field. In addition to operational duties, the Operations Intern will meet venue managers, company executives, clients, and team members.

You will be expected to learn the ins-and-outs of the company’s daily procedures and operations while gaining valuable insight to further your interest in your chosen career field. In addition to operational duties, the Operations Intern will meet venue managers, company executives, clients, and team members.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
- Manage operational databases by inputting information, data, and records
- Assist in the maintenance of venue and corporate documents including credit applications, permits, contracts, and operational budgets
- Manage and maintain the sourcing of venue materials such as menus, uniforms, décor items, etc.
- Assist in conducting research and preparing reports for consideration and presentation by company executives
- Perform various clerical duties including taking memos, maintaining files, and organizing documents
- Attend and notate meetings with internal staff, external vendors, and company partners
- Respond to web correspondence, venue requests, and emails
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be enrolled in an accredited college with a focus in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related courses to receive credit
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-directed and able to work without supervision
- Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
