SENIOR CONSULTANT – STRATEGY & OPERATIONS WITH SAP ARIBA FOCUS
The Strategy & Operations (S&O) practice is one of the key practice areas within the Strategy & Business Transformation Practice, and we focus on assisting our clients with business challenges in the areas of supply chain, logistics, procurement, and general operations. Senior Consultants are primarily responsible for day-to-day project execution. They apply well-honed consulting and functional skills in the delivery of major project components and deliverables. Furthermore, Senior Consultants are involved in firm building and business development activities such as project diagnostics, project playbooks and accelerators, internal training, and proposal development.
Senior Consultants will typically be involved in the following activities:
Scoping and planning client engagements
Identifying and resolving issues critical to the clients' strategic and operational success
Providing technical/functional content
Developing and presenting conclusions and recommendations to client management
Providing solution implementation assistance as required
Developing leading industry insight to present to clients
Leading project workstreams and reporting project progress
We are specifically looking for Senior Consultants with expertise in SAP Ariba implementations to join our Sourcing & Procurement practice within Strategy & Operations. Specific experience requirements for this role include:
Two to four years previous consulting experience
- SAP Ariba technology implementation experience involving:
- the full SAP Ariba suite (Buying & Invoicing, Sourcing, Contracts, SLP, Risk, SNAP)
- global deployments and the associated nuances (compliant invoicing, tax, etc.)
- acting in a lead role from requirements gathering and design through configuration build and deployment
- Procure-to-Pay Process experience
- Other E-Procurement experience (Coupa, Jaggaer, Ivalua experience a plus)
Senior Consultants will typically have:
3 years of related consulting or industry experience showing progression/promotion
Outstanding analytical capability
Demonstrated experience with strategy and operations within one or more targeted industries
The ability to effectively operate independently and in a team environment
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
An MBA or other relevant advanced degree from a top educational institution
